KNIFE started out as a passion project. It was 2009 when after 15+ years of slugging it in kitchens, it was time to follow my love for knives and decided to open a shop in Toronto. KNIFE is Dedicated to Japanese cutlery and a place for my fellow industry peers to come hang and talk shop. KNIFE has evolved since then but the principles remain the same, quality knives, whetstone sharpening and a place to share your passion. KNIFE Toronto was established in 2009, inspired by a profound appreciation for the art of cooking and the essential tools that make culinary magic happen. Our founder, a seasoned professional with over 15 years in the culinary industry, envisioned a space where chefs and food enthusiasts could come together to celebrate their love for fine cutlery.
